This policy explains what information Mountain Springs Storage (“we,” “us”) collects when you use mountainspringsstorage.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Mountain Springs Storage is a trade name of Bar E Holdings LLC. We keep this simple and collect only what we need to help you.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you fill out a form, request a quote, book, or contact us, we collect what you enter — typically your name, email, phone, and your message.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our host and analytics tools may record basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the site you came from. This helps us keep the site working and understand what’s useful.
  • Cookies and similar tools. We use a small number of cookies. Essential ones make the site work. Any analytics or marketing cookies only run after you agree through our cookie banner (see below).

How we use your information

  • To respond to you, provide quotes, bookings, and services you request.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • To send you information you asked for. We don’t send marketing messages you didn’t ask for, and you can opt out anytime.

Your cookie & tracking choices

Non-essential tracking (such as analytics or advertising pixels) does not run until you select “Accept” on our cookie banner. You can decline, and you can change your choice later using the “Cookie settings” link if one is shown. Declining does not break the site.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only as much as each one needs to do its job. Today those are:

  • Netlify — hosts this website and handles the forms you submit.
  • Supabase — the database that holds your reservation and, once we open, your account and rental records.
  • Resend — delivers the emails we send you, such as confirmations and reminders.
  • Google Fonts — serves the typefaces this site is set in, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

When online rent payments open, Stripe will handle card and bank payments. Your card details go to Stripe directly — we never see or store your full card number.

Each of these keeps its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Opt out of marketing or of non-essential tracking.

To make any of these requests, email hello@mountainspringsstorage.com and we’ll take care of it. We won’t treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Text messages

If you ask us to text you, we send messages about your own unit — payment reminders, gate-code notices, and the occasional service update. This is optional and renting never depends on it. We send you the same information by email either way, and you can change your mind at any time.

  • How often. Usually two to four messages a month, depending on your billing date and whether anything needs your attention.
  • How to stop. Reply STOP to any message and the texts end. Reply HELP for help, or email us at the address below.
  • Costs. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Your number. We do not sell it, and we never share it with anyone else for their own marketing. It goes only to the messaging service that delivers our texts on our behalf.

How we protect & keep information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take care to protect what you share with us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above shows when it last changed.
